IL-21 treated Human microglial cell line displays similar changes as mice brain. HMC-3 human microglial cell line was exposed to IL-21 for 72 h. (A) Supernatant collected was assayed for IL-6. The cells were collected and BODIPY was assessed- (B) MFI of BODIPY as determine by flow cytometry; (C) Fluorescence microscope imaging of BODIPY (Green) and DAPI (blue); The expression of (D) CD36; (E) TREM-2; (F) ApoE; was determined by flow cytometry.
